Masonry at it’s best! Hurry before winter arrives. (South shore)
There is still time left but inevitably the ground will freeze and that masonry project will have to be put on hold until next Spring. I am taking jobs now on a case by case basis. Bigger jobs are being requested to hold off until the Spring unless accommodations can be made to insure a quality masonry job/repair can be produced. Mortar WILL NOT cure properly under various New England weather conditions. Laying brick in cold weather should only be done by a skilled mason. There are a litany of issues that can occur such as shrink cracking, honeycombing, and fractures, just to mention a few.
20 years ago I started as a mason’s tender. I learned from the best of the best. I have a portfolio that is second to NONE.
Whether it is new or repair my skills will meet or exceed what most can do. My knowledge of materials is extensive. I don’t simply run to Home Depot or Lowes and pick up what is on sale. I evaluate the job and use the proper materials. Ask questions like what’s the difference between mortars, when should lime be added, what causes efflorescence (whitening of brick or stone), what is admix and why is it used. A GOOD mason should be able to answer ALL of your questions.
If a set of stairs are in bad shape I am probably one of the few masons around that may be able to fix them rather then tearing them down and building a new set.
If it is pavers for a walkway or patio you are interested in the installer should be certified (which I am). Laying pavers is simple. When it comes time to start cutting angles and have a truly professional look an amateur’s work will stick out like a sore thumb. My precision diamond blade cuts make for pieces that fit like a glove. That precision comes with making a few thousand cuts over many years.
So why not email me and and we can discuss what you have for masonry work. I will come out and give you a free estimate. I don’t need to run back and check with my masonry staff since I am the mason that will be doing the work. I will be on your job from start to finish.
Have the best work at a reasonable price.
Pictures and references…I have literally hundreds.

Email me via this ad and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I am currently extremely busy attempting to wrap up jobs that are under contract.
It’s your money and your investment. Why not have the best in workmanship done? A project done by a rookie will look like a project done by a rookie.
Thanks for looking!
Barry
